Welcome to the Office of National Scholarships and Fellowships. We nominate and prepare students for scholarships that require institutional endorsement, including the Rhodes, Marshall, Mitchell, Goldwater, Udall, Truman, and Gaither Junior Fellows competitions, along with those that incorporate some form of institutional review into their selection processes such as the Fulbright U.S. Student Program. We also serve as a resource for nationally competitive awards for which students apply directly, such as Gates Cambridge and Gilman. We work with all graduate and undergraduate students across all UConn campuses.
Opportunities
National scholarships are highly competitive, prestigious awards that provide support for a wide range of enriching experiences, including study abroad, undergraduate or graduate study, federal employment, language learning, teaching, research, and public service. Here are some of the scholarships that we support:
- Beinecke Scholarship
- Critical Language Scholarship (CLS)
- Churchill Scholarship
- Fulbright US Student Program
- Gilman Scholarship
- Goldwater Scholarship
- Marshall Scholarship
- Rhodes Scholarship
- Truman Scholarship
